Dialog's 5G Roaming Claim: 76 Countries, 155 Operators

Article

The claim

Developing Telecoms (19 December 2025) reports that Dialog also claims to offer the widest 5G roaming network from Sri Lanka, supporting 5G connectivity across 76 countries through partnerships with 155 global mobile operators.

How to read it

  • It is Dialog's own claim. The report says "claims", and we have not independently verified the country or operator counts.
  • A roaming partnership does not guarantee 5G coverage everywhere in a country. Coverage depends on the partner network.
  • The report does not give roaming prices.

Check before you travel

  • Ask Dialog for the list of countries and partner networks in writing.
  • Ask for the roaming rates and daily caps.
  • Turn off data roaming on your device if you do not want automatic charges.
  • Make sure your phone supports 5G and the relevant bands.

Context

Dialog launched its commercial 5G network in December 2025. It said it had more than 220 live 5G sites serving over 1.5 million subscribers at launch. Those are the company's own figures.
